There was a protest march in front of Karnataka Film Chamber by Kannada Film Producers Association. Many producers including Vijayalakshmi Singh, K Manju and others took part in this protest march.
The Protestants said the problems for the Non- Kannada films are increasing day by day and they blamed the distributors for trying to kill Kannada Film Industry.
They also said even though there are certain rules and regulations for Non- Kannada films, the distributors are not following it.
