The word Modhalaa is not a kannada word. This word came into use when Kunal Ganjawala has pronounced the word ‘Modhala’ as ‘Modhalaa’ (in Anthu Inthu Preethi
Banthu film) and it can neither be entered in Kannada dictionary nor can become a Kannada word.
But how does this relate to movie? Modhala Sala means, the first encounter in every and various stage of your life is very refreshing in the memory and this will be flavored
by Universal Love and the title gives the literal meaning of the movie.
Couple of people from the team spoke the same about the movie at the Bell Hotel on cool Wednesday morning. Software guys Yogish Narayan and Mallikarjun Gadag have
evolved ‘Karnataka Talkies’ to produce this film with the friends like Venkatesh Naik, Mahesh of Gokak, Jagadish Kalagi and Mayoor all hail from Gadag district of
Karnataka.
The assistant director is the eminent director S Mahender Purushottam, who also had worked with directors Indrajith Lankesh and Soorya is independently directing this
film. Purushottham has worked nearly in 20 films as assistant director. He has written the story, screen play, dialogues as well as direction.
Mallikarjuna who was associated with script, screenplay and direction in films like Swami, Valmiki, Jothe Jotheyali, Adhi, Indhra, Snehana Preethina, is joint producer of this
film ‘Modhala Sala’.
The shooting will be shot in the place like Sakaleshpur, Bangalore, Kasargod, Madikeri, Chikkamagalur and Mysore surroundings. Yash says the script is very interesting
and earlier script narrated to him ‘Shubashaya’ was also interesting. The second one is launching with good contents in it he said.
