Starring: Tarun Chandra, Rekha

Director: Sanjay K

Music: Jassie Gift

Producer: Krishnamurthy S.G.

Cast: Tarun, Rekha, Shobharaj, Avinash, Chidanand, Master Anand and Monisha

Sanjay K had earlier directed the movie Hudugata Golden star Ganesh and Rekha in lead roles which became a hit at the box office. Now he is back as director for most
awaited movie Parichaya which has already proved musically hit but it’s shocking to know that, according to the audiences it lacks interesting storyline.

Sanjay’s Hudugaata was a copy of It Happened One Night and his latest movie Parichaya brings the John Cusack-Kate Beckinsale starrer 2001 movie Serendipity,
which has already inspired many Indian filmmakers.

This movie is heavily to be similar Madhavan starrer Tamil movie JJ. The movie Parichaya is a youth- centric movie and Sanjay has made good use of the slices of the
of modern life to adorn his love story. Jessy Gift’s trendy music, PKH Doss’ cinematography and fantastic choreography remain as the highlight of the movie. But
Sanjay’s half-baked script spoils the movie.

The first half of the movie is really very interesting; however the second half of the movie tests the patience of the audiences.

About the movie: DJ Jayanth (Tarun Chandra) meets and BPO girl Nirmala (Rekha) on Valentine’s Day and fate make them to meet again and again. Tarun asks for
her mobile number but she departs saying if destiny wants them to be together they will meet again. The rest of the film deals with their search for each other.

Actor Tarun lacks in many sentimental sequences, where as rocks in the dance scenes. Rekha appears glamorous with her curly hair. Avinash and Shobharaj have done
Justice to their role.

Jessie Gift’s musical score compensates the film’s mood along with the lyrics of Jayant Kaikini and Kaviraj. Especially, songs like ‘Nadedaaduva Kaamanabille...’, ‘Jigi
Jigi Jigidhu...’ and ‘Kudinotave...’ will haunt the audiences even after they are out of the theatre. PHK Doss’ camera work is another highlight of the movie.
