Yeeranna, a very fond colleague in film journalist’s circle who is respected for his advices and lashing attacks in the cinema industry the father of street plays, television actor, writer the inimitable, cinema, turns 81 today.
It is time to take blessings from ASM, wishing him good health and more prosperity in life. Recovering from his one month ill health recently ASM is now minus his six packs and wine every day. He was nick named as ‘Six Packs ASM’ from the last 65 years.
Cajoling those who were going in for gym four packs and six packs in physical build ASM says– ‘I am always six to eight packs’ he was telling and opening his favorite ITC small cigarette pack'.
Being such a chain smoker most of the times ASM fear for the first time in life that too for his cigarettes. Doctors advised him to quit smoking completely and that is what he adhered to from last two months.
ASM celebrated his 81st birthday on Sunday evening at the Kalamandira. He has written a play ‘Hai Monalisa’ and that will be released in the presence of stylish actor Sudeep, journalist Jogi, director Guruprasad and Prakash Belawadi.
Smt Pallavi Arun will be treating the guests in the musical evening who is ASM's grand daughter while another grand daughter Chitrashri will do the anchoring.
