Three security gaurds were detained by Tirumala police on the basis of a complaint from the scribes, when they tried violently push media persons out of famous actress Meena's marriage ceremony on Sunday in Tirupathi.
The complaint said, during the marriage the reporters were not allowed inside the hall; they were attacks by her security personnel and damaged two cameras.
The marriage was landed at Tirumala on Saturday night for the muhurtham that was scheduled on Sunday, kept the event away from both print and the electronic media, finally leading to skirmishes between the two groups on Saturday night and Sunday.
The marriage was held at a private choultry at Tirumala which was related only to the family members and close friends.
The newly married couple after marriage offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara and left for Chennai. A very grand reception will be held in the Mayor Ramanathan Hall in Chennai on July 14.
